Bethany House Services collaborates with others to provide a full range of
housing, education, and assistance programs to homeless and disadvantaged women and children.
The Bookworm Diner is a mission outreach of Immanuel UCC offering families a free meal and an opportunity to read with their children. The Diner is open in
our Huber Fellowship Hall 5:00-6:30pm on scheduled Mondays in January thru March and offers weekly guest readers and monthly “Theme Nights”
CHRISTMAS FOR NEEDY CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT
One-half of funds are distributed to the Elmwood Place Elementary School
and one-half to the St. Bernard Kiwanis to assist with providing children with clothing, toys and other needed items during the Christmas Season.
CHURCH CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
Persons active in the life of Immanuel UCC are assisted with a portion of their
camp fees for one of the camps offered through the Ohio Conference Outdoors Ministries camps and other regional or national UCC retreats.
COMMUNITY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
To develop an enhanced community-wide Vacation Bible School program.
Funds would be used for advertising, creating props, additional programming
and other supplies and/or services.
Crossroad is a UCC-related agency located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. It is a premier treatment center for children who have been abused, neglected and unloved. Crossroad creates promising futures for children in difficult
circumstances providing therapy, education and family support services.
IUCC Mission Committee – Local Missions
Funds are distributed by the Mission Committee to help needy individuals or families in our community and our congregation. This is done privately, so that the needs of those persons receiving assistance are kept in confidence.
IUCC National/Conference/Association Disaster Relief
Funds are dispersed by the Mission Committee to the National UCC office for disaster relief efforts in our country and abroad. Funds are also used to assist
with supplies needed such as disaster kit buckets.
LONELY INSTRUMENTS FOR NEEDY KIDS (LINKS)
A program through the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music
that gathers instruments and places them with needy children in local
elementary, middle and high school bands and orchestras.
OHIO CONFERENCE CAMP DEBT REDUCTION
Funds are directed to the Ohio Conference to assist specifically in the paying off the current camp debt.
OUR CHURCHES WIDER MISSION (OCWM) www.ucc.org
Funds are sent to the Southwest Ohio Northern Kentucky Association (SONKA)
to be distributed between SONKA, the Ohio Conference, and the national UCC.
This is our tithe to the higher church.
PRIMARY/SECONDARY SCHOOL GRANT FUND
This fund assists elementary and Jr./Sr. high school students within our congregation who have an opportunity to travel with a class or organization,
as well as students who may have an opportunity to take higher education coursework outside their normal school studies. Funds are not used for trips specifically for sport, band or other competitions. Application for funds is made through the Ministry & Outreach Committee.
REGIONAL/NATIONAL UCC MEETINGS
Used for members of the congregation to attend meetings of the UCC including, but not limited to, General Synod and the National Women’s Meeting.
Each year scholarship funds are provided for our members who are in college

o FULL TIME – Fall through Spring:
Full time students complete 12 or more credit hours per term. Attach evidence of satisfactory completion of at least one term and evidence of registration for the second term. Full time students are eligible to receive one award per academic year.
o PART TIME – Fall – through Spring
Part-time students complete less than 12 credit hours per term. Attach evidence of completion of courses for the first term and evidence of registration for the second term. Part time students are eligible to receive one award per academic year.
o SUMMER – Attach the registration and completion documentation. Applicants receiving an award for either of the above categories will not eligible for a summer award. Summer awards will be distributed based on credit hours completed. If an applicant completes less than 12 credit hours, the award will be 1⁄4 a full time award. If 12 or more credit hours are completed, the award will be 1⁄2 of the full time award.
o All awards will be decided by the Ministry & Outreach Committee, based on the funds available in a given year.

ST. BERNARD ELMWOOD PLACE SCHOOLS EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The objective of the Foundation is “to promote, sponsor, and carry out
educational purposes and objectives for the benefit of the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools”. Funds are used by the school system to assist students in
VALLEY INTERFAITH FOOD AND CLOTHING CENTER www.vifcc.org
An ecumenical agency supported by the churches of the Mill Creek Valley and is located in Lockland. VIFCC provides services for needy individuals and families in our area.
WASHINGTON UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST www.washingtonucc.org
Washington UCC is a mission outreach church located in Camp Washington (Cincinnati). Funds assist with their many mission activities including the Homework Club, Street Feeds, Thanksgiving and Christmas programs, and much more.
CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS
During the Christmas season, Immanuel UCC provides food baskets for more than 50 households. These funds assist with buying perishable items for the baskets.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING-IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
Funds are used for special programming for the Youth Programs at Immanuel UCC – such as program leaders, retreat leaders, seminars and materials needed for programs.
